I've been neglecting this blog due to a lot of things going on in my life right now, but I definitely wanted to make mention of this: Captain EO will be re-opening at EPCOT Center at Walt Disney World in Florida, Disneyland Paris, and Tokyo Disneyland.
Captain EO's Triumphant Return WORLDWIDE!
I was recently in Japan and was giddy about finding the Honey I Shrunk the Audience attraction (dubbed as MicroAdventure since the Japanese don't really know about the movie Honey, I Shrunk the Kids) at Tokyo Disneyland hiding behind tarp. Captain EO is really coming back, and the official Tokyo Disney Resort website has announced it here.
You won't believe how happy this makes me. It is unprecedented that Disney would bring back such an old attraction, especially on a global scale, but friend after friend always tells me, "Well, it's Michael Jackson."
Granted, Disney is doing all this to boost profits, but they're right. It's Michael Jackson.
Long live Captain EO.
